1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR is:

Steuten IT Solutions
Christian Steuten
Uerdinger Straße 120
40668 Meerbusch, Germany
Phone: +49 1523 3988474

Full details are also listed in the imprint.

2. Tool data never leaves your browser

Every tool on ToolBox Hub runs entirely on your own device using JavaScript in your browser. Text you type or paste, and files you drop into a tool, are processed locally. They are never transmitted to our servers, never logged, and never stored by us.

3. Server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you request a page, the hosting infrastructure processes your IP address, the requested URL, the referring page, your user agent and the request timestamp. This is technically necessary to deliver the page and to protect against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website).

4. Cookies and consent

We use only cookies that are technically necessary, plus advertising cookies you consent to:

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your chosen language. Technically necessary, no consent required, expires after one year.
  • theme — remembers your light or dark mode preference. Stored locally in your browser.
  • Advertising cookies set by Google — only after you consent through the consent banner.

You can change or withdraw your advertising consent at any time using the Privacy settings link in the footer of every page.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Where you consent, Google and its partners may set cookies and process your IP address, device identifiers and interaction data in order to serve and measure personalised advertising. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, collected through a Google-certified consent management platform conforming to the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

If you refuse consent, only non-personalised advertising is shown. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.

6. Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. These services are cookieless and do not create cross-site identifiers or track individual visitors between sessions. No personal profile is built. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving site performance).

7. Local storage

The app stores a small amount of data in your browser’s local and session storage — your theme preference and whether you dismissed the install prompt. This never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have your data erased (Art. 17);
  • restrict processing (Art. 18);
  • data portability (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing (Art. 7(3));
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
